Kelly Lynch Sperry received her B.A. in Organizational Studies and Communications from UC Davis in 1994. After graduating from Whittier College School of Law and passing the California Bar in 1997, having participated in Moot Court, she worked for a firm focusing on catastrophic injury cases (auto, slip/trip and fall, workplace injuries), family law, estate planning, and criminal law. She second-chaired two trials, a binding arbitration, and lead cases where she earned several substantial settlements for clients.
Kelly then shifted her focus to insurance defense and the representation of Owners, Builders, Developers, and Subcontractors in various construction-related disputes, contract, and personal injury matters. She successfully litigated construction defect cases in State and Federal trial and appellate courts and before administrative agencies, gaining extensive experience with ADR and working closely with Special Masters, mediators, and arbitrators in both Southern and Northern California.
Kelly joined KWCL in 2017, representing and advising Builders, Owners, and Design Professionals and Vendors to achieve successful projects. She is experienced in mediation, arbitration, and litigation and proactively works with clients to help avoid costly disputes through advice and counsel.
Kelly lives in San Rafael with her husband, Dave, and their two daughters. In her spare time, she enjoys tennis, hiking and skiing with her family, and supporting her daughters’ activities and ambitions.
