Greg Hanson

Mr. Hanson has represented developers, general contractors and sub-contractors in construction claims and defect litigation, for the past 22 years.  He also has experience with land use matters and contract close-out disputes, as well as general insurance defense litigation.

Mr. Hanson’s experience includes conducting high-end settlement negotiations, arbitrations, and appearing for clients at various court hearings.  Mr. Hanson has taken innumerable depositions, including PMQ/COR’s of major corporations.  He has prepared and defended clients in over 100 depositions. Mr. Hanson is client-focused, and believes excellent communication and due diligence are keys to achieving client success.

Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Hanson worked in the construction industry for sixteen years.  He served as a Managing Foreman for construction companies in Hawaii and California where he managed all aspects of building multi-million dollar custom homes, including oversight of project crews and deadlines.  He also served as Assistant Project Manager for a construction services company in California where he advised the management team on materials and price negotiations, managed commercial projects within budget and on deadline, and initiated and implemented a pre-job then weekly trouble-shooting system.  Mr. Hanson began his career as a builder where he contracted for and specialized in building luxury custom homes.
